911 Indiana Ave.

The next few buildings might be a little boring until the 50's came around. I was only able to come up with a few photos of this side of the block. I am also confused and need help figuring this all out. Addresses changed through the years. Up until around 1928-29, there was just an empty lot next to the Radio building. As you can see in the first photo, construction had begun.
The address for the Radio Building was 901-909. In 1944, the address for Bebb's Flowers was 909 Indiana. Perhaps Bebb's was in the ground floor of the Radio Building. But, as shown in the middle photo, Bebb's shows to be in the building next to the Radio Building by 1945. Maybe there was a change in address at the time, but Bebb's shows to be at 909 until 1953 when it became Hall's Shoes until 1960.
Once again, either the addresses changed or stores moved around because by 1965, the address of 909 was Lovelace Book store.
Then by the 70's, there was no 909, but there was a 907. By 1975, Steve's Shoes was in 907. 905 through the years was Montgomery Ward, but if the Radio Building was 901-909, that might place Ward's on the ground floor of that building. I don't remember it being there on the bottom floor of the Radio Building.
So my dilemma is that I really have no idea what was next door to the Radio Building through the years. If anyone can help me figure all this out, please message me at Julie Williams Coley on Facebook. I will correct this story once I have enough info to figure it out!
The books I have written are available at Heritage Antique Mall at 1503 Lamar Ave. across from Coca Cola or at Picker's Universe at 1000 Indiana Ave. across from the library. They are also available on Amazon at
